A Part-Time Backpacker
My name is Chelsey and I enjoy traveling as often as possible. In 2017, I packed an entire can of soup with a 40 degree sleeping bag from Dick's Sporting Goods and set off to sleep at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I froze my butt off, overpacked on clothes, and brought all the wrong foods. I struggled my way back to the car after 3 long days exhausted and a little beaten down.
I was hooked.
Backpacking has been an illustrious affair from day 1 and this blog is a detailed love letter to the hobby that has brought some of my best days and some of my hardest.
If you're looking for a blog that has the 20 best Instagram spots, then you're hopelessly lost my friend. It will however, have detailed itineraries for backpacking and day hiking, sprinkled in with some gear recommendations that have leveled up since that 40 degree sleeping bag mishap.
